An Apple A Day

Across a majority of the country, many leaves are changing, & the fall foliage is in full bloom.  With this natural beauty, something not so beautiful is brewing around the corner.  Allergies & colds typically forms themselves during a season change, & because this is a reoccurring process, at M.C Health & Wellness, we believe that it's best to stay ahead of the game and be proactive with this situation.  Before you put on your favorite flannel sweater with the large stitched-in leave perfectly placed in the center of the sweater, and stand in the nearly endless line for a pumpkin spice latte, read on how you can keep yourself healthy & avoid the sneezy day blues.  Many people would like to be rocked to sleep by the sound of rustling leaves playing in the wind, but it's not a pretty look when your throat is scraping with pain from the change of the autumn air.

Bobbing For Black Seed Apples

One of the many traditions of the sugar-filled holiday, Halloween, is bobbing for apples.  Many kids have played this game for years, but those apples grazing the surface of the water filled barrel has more plans for you than you'd expect.  One of the popular trends that has made its way towards the top of the detoxing board is Braggs Apple Cider Vinegar.  Apple cider vinegar is mostly apple juice with yeast added to the concoction, and that addition to the consequently turns the apple's natural sugars into alcohol during a process called fermentation.  The bacteria turns the alcohol into acetic acid and that's where the real action comes in.  Vinegar naturally is extremely acidic, so we suggest that you never drink vinegar straight.  The team at M.C Health & Wellness commits to having one glass of apple cider vinegar a day to maintain our natural functions, and also to prevent getting the entire team sick.  Can you imagine that? Tragedy! Our remedy is to get two tablespoons of apple cider vinegar, two tablespoons of lemon juice, and 8 ounces of water.  Drinking warm or hot water is recommended to douse the taste from being too intense.  As I've said before, vinegar naturally have an intense taste and smell, so be aware of that, but don't let that deter you from allowing your body to be healthy.

Apple cider vinegar has been used for many rejuvenating remedies for centuries.  It was used by the ancient Greeks to treat wounds, but in recent years, its most common use is to help with weight loss & to improve heart health to name a couple.

While we are on the subject of detoxing our body, it's also just as important to take necessary steps to detox your mind.  It's so easy to see or read about killing, pain, starvation, and negative conversation on a daily basis, and most of the time there's no getting around it.  Life is full of hurts and disappointments, but that doesn't mean that everything is doom and gloom.  Taking the subject of apple cider vinegar into consideration.  This article is to describe why you should incorporate apple cider vinegar into your daily walk to prevent future illnesses and stress, and the same holds true when you're removing the unnecessary and toxic elements out of your life.

One way to detox your mind is to get organized and only keep what you need.  So if that means clearing out that draw piled to the rim of papers from 2002 in the spare room, or choosing to forgive someone who's done you wrong in the fifth grade, organizing and shedding is beneficial for you and not necessarily for the next person.  Exercising this, same as taking your recommended amount of apple cider vinegar everyday, put you into the habit of being prepared for future illnesses and stress.  I was taught a lesson that true is success means removing as many bad habits out of your life on a daily bases, and replacing them with good habit.  We should never neglect to do the small things.  Some people may feel like taking apple cider vinegar everyday is small and tedious, or doing that extra rep at the gym doesn't matter, however, not picking up the good habits is indirectly forced on you to pick up the bad habits.  Now understand that taking apple cider vinegar everyday or removing any toxic situations out of your life by personal grow is a concrete law that EVERYONE has to follow.  This is our recommendation because we care about you and want you to grow and be happy in every area of your life, but in our experiences, I see this the best way to push pass that glass ceiling and add extra years to your life.  Again, neglect doing the small things everyday to reach your goals, because those small things truly adds up.
